In 2004,
Georgia legalized the sale of high-gravity beers that contain up to 15%
alcohol. With an influx of hundreds of options for the beer enthusiast, it is
no surprise that beer tastings are a growing trend. Today, this is an edgy, yet
sophisticated alternative to the mainstream wine tasting; a fresh event option
suitable for small groups of clients, employees, or friends.
H2 Media plans and hosts beer tastings that are customizable to your
preferences! Beers are categorized and presented with interesting facts to
increase the overall group experience. Additional tools, such as comment cards
and posters featuring the selections are included if they fit the overall theme
of your evening.
We just need a two-week minimum lead time and we’ll take care of the rest,
including invitations and shopping!

We use it all the time, but
sometimes email can be a communication nightmare.
3 Rules for Keeping Email Professional.
1.
Email is
quick and efficient already, so just take a minute to reread what you type.
2.
If you
are fired-up about an issue, wait until you are calmer to write. For time
sensitive messages, have an objective party read through it before you send it
out.
3.
Don’t be a habitual “reply all” user. Many times the conversation goes
off-topic and no longer needs to be shared with the group. Be selective with
who you insert into the “to box.”
If you have
already sent an erroneous or embarrassing email, you might be able to recall
it. Visit ehow
for instructions if you have Microsoft Outlook 97 or later.

Stock
Photos.
If you need stock photos, they will generally cost you. But Hewlett Packard
users can register at istockphoto
for free images. After registering, return back to
istockphoto and you will have
the opportunity to download 30 photos from 60 designated images. The
size/quality options of what you download will be either a 4x6 for printing
purposes or a larger, lower-dpi image for use on the web. Generally, I must
admit, checking the required box for fine print rules is something that happens
without the reading part. But in the case of stock photos for your business,
there are regulations that you need to be aware of. This time read through the
membership agreement, but pay special attention to the link about 1/3 of the way
down titled, "content license agreement." This section lays out specific no-no's
such as using an istockphoto as a logo element. Otherwise, make use of the free
resource in your marketing materials!

What does a boutique agency offer that a small
company cannot do for itself?
Resources, skills, and time top the list:
Resources. Programs such as, Adobe® InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
are professional design tools that bundled cost around $1300. In addition to
these basics, there are also professional fonts that create a distinct
difference in the end result for the client, but don’t come cheap. In fact, some
cost nearly twice the Adobe package mentioned previously. An agency will utilize
these resources to develop a precise layout and polished appearance.
Skills. Of course, the professional often brings years of experience to each
project. And in cases when the need to outsource aspects of the project arises,
a boutique agency has an insider’s advantage for finding compatible, quality
talent. A strong skill set benefits clients by truly capturing the target
audiences’ attention with a strategically designed message.
Time. Finally, because an agency has the resources and skills required to meet
communication needs, it takes less time than it would for one without developed
skills. Investing in a boutique agency’s personalized service to meet
communication needs frees up time for other demands within the company.

voice, eliminating grammatical errors...

quality you are offering. Freelance services help
ensure against embarrassing mistakes. Industries
vary, but you might expect to spend $15-$25/hr for
basic proofreading, $35/hr for copyediting, and

No Joke.
If you plan to offer a promotion, make it beneficial to the customer. Even
large companies, such as Nestlé ®, can approve a hollow promotion. Those
craving a chewy-caramel-chocolate treat may be pleasantly pleased to find they
are a Third Prize Winner. What does third place get you? Two free single candy
bars! That's right, a prize worth approximately 75 to 99 cents. To redeem, you must mail the game wrapper and a 3x5 card with contact info via certified
or registered mail. I might be jonesing for some chocolate, but I'm going to
have to pass up this 'Prize."
